1308 Productions is an independent non-profit organization devoted to public service, music education, and supporting the youth music scene in South Florida. 1308 has established itself as a positive vehicle for programs, projects and events that are produced for and by young people. 1308 Productions presents rock shows and music events that are linked to public service endeavors.
The organization combines support for the music scene and music education programs with helping kids get active in positive activities in their communities and our nation. Family, friends, volunteers, students, young rock bands, all working together to help engage and inspire young people to achieve in the areas of leadership, community service, voter participation, musical performance, and public education.
1308 Productions helps to provide opportunities for young bands to play and for young audiences to hear and enjoy! The shows have helped to expand the exposure and fan base of aspiring young rock bands and to host events that excite music fans, inspire musicians, applaud educators, and make a genuine, positive impact. In addition to its own shows, 1308 Productions can help identify and book young bands for all sorts of shows and events in South Florida, and to produce special events and concerts for other organizations. 1308 Productions has also commenced activities in New York City, and is partnering with NY organizations to support events and projects there.
